In mid 1964 the Fender Mustang was released to market. Fender wanted to have a mid-line guitar just between the student
model and professional model guitars. There are 2 types of necks found on Mustangs. The early guitars can be found with 22
1/2 inch scale necks. They are commonly found with 24 inch scale necks. There are also 2 types of neck radius to be found
on these beauties. Early models had thinner necks, but later in 1965 they made many with larger necks. These are beautiful
guitars! If you can get one, snap it up!
